Obituary for A1C Khalil Jones

A1C Khalil Jones
A1C Khalil Shemar Jones,19, of Daytona Beach, FL died January 5, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Bellevue, Nebraska where he was stationed. He was born October 18, 1998 in Poughkeepsie, New York, the son of Adine Jones. Khalil loved to read, swim, computers, video games and also loved to hang out with his friends.
He graduated from Mainland High school, class of 2016, where he was on the swim team. He worked as a lifeguard with the City of Daytona Beach and the YMCA and afterward joined the Air Force on July 4, 2016.

Khalil is survived by his mother Adine Jones of Daytona Beach, Grandmother Jean Mair of Palm Coast, Aunts Sharon Mair, Nadine Jones of Queens New York, Adief Jones Atkinson of Georgia, uncle in law Kenroy Atkinson of Georgia , cousins Nelson Henry of Poughkeepsie NY and Kianna Atkinson of Georgia and countless relatives.

Funeral arrangements for Khalil are being held at Dale Woodward Funeral Home
167 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill, FL 32117 on Monday January 15, 2018 at 11:00 am with visitation from 9:30 am until service time at the funeral home.
His final resting place will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Hwy 1, North Mims, FL with full military honors being rendered at 2:00 on Tuesday January 16, 2018.
