Pet Services

Pet Funeral Alternatives in Florida

Say goodbye to your little one with a loving, caring, personalized service.

Coping with the loss of a pet is difficult. We understand how deeply it can affect you and your family. A small memorial service for your departed animal can be healing and cathartic. We can help you give your beloved pet the dignified farewell and attention that he or she deserves.

What To Do If Your Pet Dies At Home

Losing a pet is heartbreaking. If your pet passes away at home, please keep in mind the following:

  1. Take a moment to understand what is happening. Even if this occurs after an accident or illness and we were expecting to say goodbye, we are never ready to let go of our furry loved ones.
  2. If you have other pets, keep them away from the deceased pet to avoid any distress.
  3. Decide what to do with your pet's remains. You can have them cremated or buried or contact a pet removal service to handle the remains.
  4. Consider contacting a support group or therapist if you struggle to cope with the loss.

Remember that it's okay to grieve and take the time to heal. Some people find comfort in holding a memorial service or creating a special tribute. In contrast, others may prefer to spend time alone reflecting on their pet's life. Whatever you choose to do, know it's okay to feel sad and not alone in your grief.

What is the best way to explain the death of a pet to kids and teens?

When explaining the death of a pet to kids and teens, it's essential to be honest and gentle. Use age-appropriate language and be prepared to answer any questions they may have. Please encourage them to express their feelings and offer comfort and support.

What should I consider when looking for a funeral or cremation service for my pet?

When looking for a funeral or cremation service for your pet, you should consider factors such as the reputation and experience of the service provider, the type of services they offer, their pricing and payment options, and how they handle the cremation or burial process. Consider any special requests or considerations for honoring your pet's memory.

Burial

We can help you find the ideal final resting place for your beloved pet in a nearby pet cemetery.

Cremation

  • PRIVATE
Individual — or private — cremation is a process where only one pet is present in the cremation chamber, similar to the process used for human cremations. After cremation, we remove your pet's cremated remains from the chamber and return them to you in an urn of your choice.
  • PARTITIONED
Partitioned cremation means that your pet shares space in the cremation chamber with other pets. Because each pet is placed in a designated area and clearly identified with a stainless steel ID tag, we're able to ensure that you'll receive the cremated remains of only your pet. The cremated remains will be returned to you in an urn of your choice.
  • COMMUNAL
Communal cremation is for pet owners who do not wish to keep their pet's cremated remains, but would still like to care for their pet's remains in a dignified and loving way. In a communal cremation, multiple pets are cremated. The cremated remains are then spread on private land by one of our staff members.

Remember Them Forever With Memorial Items

Before burial or cremation, we can create keepsakes for you to remember your pet for years to come. This includes ink paw prints, clay paw prints, or keepsakes that include locks of fur or feathers. Ask our staff for more details on what we offer.

"Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them."

— John Grogan, Marley and Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog
